Danielle is a dream to work with. She was keen to deeply understand the intent for our gallery and worked closely with us to find the right artist and body of work whose values aligned with ours, helping us realise our vision for this first show. Danielle’s approach is pragmatic, genuine, flexible and she’s a great communicator. We really enjoyed working with Danielle and highly recommend her.

In my dealings with Danielle I found her to have a highly creative, professional and collaborative approach, driven by a profound understanding of audience engagement. Her combined curatorial, design and public programming background uniquely positions her to provide large audiences with rich and creative participatory experiences that are also personally meaningful and visually strong. Much of Tanabata’s success was due to her ability to understand and inform the project brief, creatively respond to each site and its operational challenges, and ensure the project met the needs of the museum and our diverse audiences. I highly recommend Danielle as a professional and capable curator and creative producer. I have no doubt she will deliver exceptional results for any project that she oversees.

Thank you for delivering a fantastic outcome for the artist and the gallery!

From the moment Danielle first contacted me right through to the completion of our project it was an enjoyable, stress-free, well-run partnership. Often artists can be treated as a simple contractor in these things but Danielle has amazing liaison skills and is also very sensitive and attentive to the artist and their work. Working tirelessly, diplomatically and efficiently she supported all of us in a short space of time to come up with the installation we all wanted. She anticipated many of the questions I might have as an artist but don’t necessarily have the skills or confidence to ask for from a corporate, questions involving funding, presentation, marketing, timelines and so on. I was able to just get on with the job of developing and installing my work. It’s pretty clear that Danielle is passionate about art and artists. She’s a great person to work with and I can honestly say this has been the most enjoyable and well-supported art project I’ve ever worked on, in large part due to Danielle
