We connect artists with organisations, audiences with experiences, and people with ideas.

With a focus on contemporary art and design, we deliver artistically ambitious projects for our clients, bringing astute project management and a spirit of collaboration to everything that we do.

Our partners range from museums and galleries to corporations, festivals, universities, agencies, hotels and local councils. If you want to connect with visual artists, you’re our kind of people.

We live in the space between a curatorial consultancy and an arts production company. Our business model is flexible: we can work as consultants, joining your team to help you deliver your project. We also provide a full production service, assembling teams of skilled arts professionals to deliver projects from end-to-end.

Soda Arts are a dream to work with. They were keen to deeply understand our intent and help us realise our vision. Danielle’s approach is pragmatic, genuine, flexible and she’s a great communicator.

Danielle Robson, Founder

Danielle is an experienced Arts Manager, Curator and Creative Producer. For over 18 years she has been working across the private and cultural sectors, connecting the work of artists and designers with the needs of audiences and organisations. She is adept at leading large complex multidisciplinary projects as well as small-scale arts projects.

In 2018 Danielle launched Soda Arts. From 2015 - 2018 she was Co-Founder and Director of ArtsPeople, an arts company with offices in Sydney and Tokyo. Prior to this Danielle was Creative Programs Manager at Object: Australian Design Centre for six years, where she curated ground-breaking nationally touring exhibitions.

Danielle’s recent curatorial highlights include Sea-change with Penelope Davis at Arup Sydney Gallery (2018), Jurassic Plastic with Hiroshi Fuji at Sydney Festival (2018), Tanabata: Star Village at The Powerhouse Museum and Sydney Observatory (2016) and Fort Thunder: An Electro-Acoustic Playground with Lucas Abela and Keg de Souza at Fairfield Museum and Gallery (2018).

Before moving into the cultural sector ten years ago, Danielle worked in the private sector at a design agency, where she honed her design knowledge and project management skills. Danielle’s qualifications include a Master of Art Administration from the College of Fine Arts, UNSW and a Bachelor of Law and Media from Macquarie University.

In my dealings with Danielle I found her to have a highly creative, professional and collaborative approach, driven by a profound understanding of audience engagement. Her combined curatorial, design and public programming background uniquely positions her to provide large audiences with rich and creative participatory experiences that are also personally meaningful and visually strong. I have no doubt she will deliver exceptional results for any project that she oversees.
